What's nearby To ski out, head down the three flights of stairs to the locker room, pick up your gear and step on the ski run from the Chateau on the Ridge's rear entrance. You are on Hummingbird, this trail leads to the Plaza, Snow Ghost, and Ridge Rocket Express chairlifts. To get home for lunch or at the end of the day, you can either come down through the Village Center and Hummingbird to the rear entrance or come down Perfection and peel off to the left after the North Complex to the rear entrance. To get to the village, you can catch the free Mountain Shuttle Bus which turns around at the end of Kettle View Road and the top of the Chateau on Ridge drive. This runs every half hour or alternatively, it is a .5 mile walk up the ski run to the village.
